1. EVENT LOGISTICS & SETUP

Our live printing setup is designed to be flexible and can accommodate any event size, from small pop-ups to large festivals. The setup includes everything needed for efficient and high-quality printing and embellishing, with options to adjust for space constraints or expand for larger crowds.


  1. What equipment is required for a live screen printing event? We bring a screenprinting press, flash dryer, tunnel dryer, heat press, Digital Printer, Embroidery Machine, inks, and all necessary supplies. We also set up tables, drying racks, and display stands as needed.
  2. How much space is needed for a live printing setup?A standard setup requires around 6 x 6 meters of space. We can adapt to smaller or larger spaces based on the event size and venue.
  3. How long does it take to set up and break down the equipment? Setup usually takes about 1 hour, while breakdown takes around 30-45mins This can vary depending on the complexity of the setup.
  4. What kind of power supply is needed for the equipment? We typically require access to a standard 220V or 10amp electrical outlet to power our flash dryers and other equipment. More power may be needed for more significant events.
  5. Can the live printing be done both indoors and outdoors? Yes, we can set up for both indoor and outdoor events. We may require a sheltered area or tent to protect the equipment from weather conditions for outdoor events.
2. CUSTOMISATION & DESIGN OPTIONS
  1. What customisation options can customers choose from? Customers can choose their garment style, colour, design, and placement. We can offer a range of preset designs from the custom artwork you provided for the event.
  2. Can attendees create their own designs at the event? We usually use pre-burned screens with selected designs for screenprinting for simplicity and speed. However, we can discuss custom design options depending on the event format. Heat Transfer has unlimited design options, along with Digital Printing (DTF) Embroidery is limited to onr design option.
  3. How many colors can be printed on each item? We recommend one colour print for screenprinting at live events to ensure quick turnaround. More colours can be accommodated with prior planning. Digital printing, heat transfers, and embroidery offer any design's full spectrum of colours.
  4. What types of apparel and items can be printed?We offer a variety of apparel, including t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, headwear and more. We can also provide specialty items upon request.
  5. Can we incorporate our branding into the setup and designs? Absolutely. We can customise the entire setup, including signage and apparel designs, to match your branding and event theme.

  1. How do you engage attendees during the live printing process?Our team explains the screenprinting process, interacts with attendees, and offers the chance for customers to watch or even participate in the printing process.
  2. Can live printing accommodate large crowds? Yes, we have experience managing events of all sizes. For larger crowds, we streamline the process with preset design options to keep the flow moving smoothly.
  3. How long does it take to print each item? Printing typically takes about 1-3 minutes per item, depending on the design complexity and curing time.
  4. Do attendees need to wait for their printed items? There may be a short wait for printing and curing. We manage this with a queue system and provide other engagement activities to keep attendees entertained.
  5. Can we collect customer data during the event? Yes, we can set up a sign-up station for newsletters, loyalty programs, or giveaways, providing an opportunity to gather customer information.

  • What printing techniques do you use at live events? We offer traditional screenprinting, digital printing, heat transfers, and embroidery. The choice of technique depends on the event format and garment types.
  • What types of inks do you use for live printing? We typically use plastisol inks for their vibrant colours and quick curing times.
  • Is the print durable and long-lasting? Yes, all items are heat-cured to ensure the prints are durable and long-lasting, maintaining quality.
  • Can you print on different fabric types? Yes, we can print on a variety of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blends. We choose inks and techniques suitable for each fabric type.
  • Is there a limit to the number of items printed at an event? The number of items depends on the event duration and design complexity. We can discuss your expected volume to ensure smooth operation.
5. COSTS & BOOKING
  • How much does it cost to host a live screenprinting event? We work hourly, so pricing varies based on event size, duration, and customisation options. Contact us for a detailed quote tailored to your specific needs.
  • Do you have a minimum or maximum booking requirement? We do; our minimum is a half-day event, which is 6 hrs. We can accommodate events of all sizes, though. There may also be aminimum order requirement for apparel, depending on the scope of the event.
  • What is included in the live printing package? The package includes equipment, inks, and a team to operate the event. Apparel, screen and artwork setups are at additional cost. Branding elements or custom options are added costs to our list, which will be available upon request.
  • How far in advance do we need to book? We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to allow time for planning, design selection, and apparel preparation. We will consider rush planning depending on the scope of the event and the logistics.
  • What is the cancellation policy? Our cancellation policy varies depending on the event scale and advance notice. Please contact us for specific details regarding changes or cancellations.
